Mini-Games

The mini-games page lists Fishing, Darts, Curling, Cornhole, Marshmallow Roasting, Hot Chocolate, Snowball Fight, and Snowman Building.

Mini-Games

Money and collection games

These activities are important because they affect coins, unlocks, and achievements.

Coins

Hot Chocolate

  • Outside Lodge bar entrance
  • Solo
  • 1,000-2,000 coins per round

A reaction game outside the Lodge bar entrance where directional inputs pay steady coins and support drink-related achievements.

  1. Stand at the Hot Chocolate station outside the Lodge bar.
  2. Interact to start and watch the directional arrows.
  3. Press matching arrow keys or W/A/S/D in time.
  4. Clear the sequence and replay immediately.
  • Arrow keys may feel more natural than WASD.
  • This is the recommended farm before the Fishing Rod.
Collection

Fishing

  • Multiple mountain spots
  • Solo or co-op
  • 500-30,000+ coins per catch

Requires the Fishing Rod. Summit fishing is called out elsewhere as one of the strongest long-term money methods.

  1. Buy the Fishing Rod for 10,000 coins.
  2. Find a blue-shimmer fishing location.
  3. Cast, wait for the bite indicator, then interact again to reel in.
  4. Check the catch value; rare summit fish are worth far more.
  • The summit spot has the best rare-fish odds.
  • Fishing can also trigger a secret character path.
Social

Marshmallow Roasting

  • Campfire areas
  • Solo or group
  • No direct coin focus

A slower social activity tied to the Lodge campfire vibe and casual progression.

  1. Find a campfire, including the one in the mid-mountain cave.
  2. Interact to begin roasting.
  3. Hold the interaction carefully so the marshmallow does not burn.
  • The cave campfire is also near the Hard Hat collectible.

Mini-Games

Competitive Lodge games

The reference page treats these as short side games that also support achievements and party play.

Aim

Darts

  • Inside the Lodge
  • Solo or versus players
  • Coin reward for high scores

A Lodge target game that works well as early practice and a break from slope attempts.

  1. Find the Darts board.
  2. Interact to join.
  3. Aim and throw for high score or bullseye value.
  • Darts practice helps with snowball target unlocks for Fox and Toad.
Co-op

Curling

  • Inside the Lodge
  • 2+ players required
  • Winner reward

A social, multiplayer-friendly activity; the money page also says it is useful in mini-game rotation.

  1. Find the Curling lane inside the Lodge.
  2. Invite or wait for another player.
  3. Slide stones toward the target and try to finish closest to center.
  • The reference guide recommends it for friend groups and small tournaments.
Party

Cornhole

  • Lodge outdoor area
  • Solo or versus players
  • Coin reward for wins

Another Lodge activity used for relaxed rewards and achievement cleanup.

  1. Find the Cornhole boards near the Lodge outdoor area.
  2. Toss bags onto the board or into the hole.
  3. First to the target score wins.
  • Medium-power underhand throws are called out as a reliable approach.

Mini-Games

Snow activities

The page also lists outdoor social mini-games that fit the cozy multiplayer sandbox angle.

Outdoor

Snowball Fight

  • Outdoor slopes and Lodge area
  • 2+ players
  • Related: Choosing Violence

A lightweight multiplayer activity for social sessions and lobby variety.

  1. Equip snowballs from the toolbar.
  2. Aim slightly ahead of moving targets.
  3. Account for the snowball arc, especially at range.
  • Snowball physics practice also helps character unlock target challenges.
Creative

Snowman Building

  • Outdoor snow areas near Lodge
  • Solo or co-op
  • Related: Do you want to

A cozy activity that reinforces exploration and hangout play rather than pure racing.

  1. Find the snowman-designated area or snow pile.
  2. Roll small, medium, and large snowballs.
  3. Stack the three sizes to complete the snowman.
  • Build near friends for proximity chat reactions.
